He acted as project engineer in automation of pilot plants for the research and development facilities in McCook Illinois . He applied his knowledge in hardware and software in designing data acquisition systems based on Fluke 1720, 1722 and 2400 real time stand alone computer systems.

After 4 years with UOP he joined John Fluke Mfg. Co. as system Integration project manager based in Burbank, CA. He worked in this capacity for Fluke for another 6 years. During this period various aerospace test automation applications and manufacturing line automation projects were completed. Razmik joined NDC systems in 1990 as Manager of Electrical Engineering Department. His responsibilities were in design and phasing into production of stand alone or hand help computer systems to interface with variety of sensors that NDC offered in thickness measurement or gauging industry.
